I have always been a big fan of Au Revoir Simone.  I mean what isn’t there to love about a band that based their band name on well Pee Wee’s Big Adventure (that is the origin of the band name right?!).  And these lovely ladies also make some pretty damn dreamy gorgeous music.  Having said that I’m torn about this Don Henley cover.  I fucking love the original and I don’t hate this ARS cover but it’s lacking in some way.  It’s definitely a fun time but I know these girls have it in them to do a much better job.  So it gets like a 6 out of 10 instead of like an 8 out of 10 which I know they are capable of.  It’s still for sure worth a listen!
